Someday, He Will

Beloved,

Someday, someone will come into you life, and he will have the courage – 

courage to ask God for you, and courage to build life with you.

Because he’ll know, that despite his and your imperfections,

God’s grace will make things work out for the both of you.

Someday, someone will come into your life, and he will have the faith –

faith to believe that the Author of Life authors your love story too.

And he will have the faith to lead you in the ministry

and in the mission that God has for the both of you.

Someday, you’ll realize that God loves you too much

that He spared you from creating more memories with someone else.

And suddenly, the person that you’ve been praying for,

will be someone you won’t want anymore.

And when you least expect it,

someone will come into your life,

and everything will make sense much more.

Then you’ll realize that the past made you feel anxious,

but the now gives you peace and comfort;

That the past made the waiting tormenting,

but the now makes you feel that the waiting is exciting. 

That suddenly, there is beauty in the slowness of things.

You don’t need to rush, because you appreciate the season wherein you’re growing,

And you just feel in your heart, that your soul too, is flourishing.

In all aspects, you are blooming.

He will effortlessly make you smile,

for he radiates the kindness of God’s heart.

He will inspire you do your best,

for he is clearly God’s best specifically for you.

He will make you realize that you are fully healed,

not because of him, but because of Jesus.

God allowed the painful past to happen,

because it’s the only way He can reveal Himself in a deeper way.

If you look back, you’ll realize that it wasn’t a journey with the other person,

but a journey with Jesus after all. 

And in the now you'll be secured,

that Jesus is holding both of your hands,

as you journey together to glorify His name.
