God Heals My Soul
Wounds are ugly, unpleasant, and uncomfortable. This is why I'd love to cover them with band-aids or bandages most especially when I need to be with people.
However, band-aids and bandages are only meant to cover the wounds, but not heal them. The only way for wounds to heal is for them to be exposed so that proper medicines can be applied.
I realized that it is the same with the wounds on my soul -- the only way for them to be healed is to come to God with all the ugliness, unpleasantness, uncomfortability, and bring Him my brokenness so that He can heal me genuinely.
Healing is a vulnerable season as the wounds are too exposed, but it is also a beautiful season wherein God heals me with His words and with His very presence.
Healing is a vulnerable season as the wounds are too exposed, but it is also a beautiful season wherein God heals me with His words and with His very presence.
God is faithful, loving, and kind. He wouldn't let me remain broken, and through Him, I am healed.
“Daughter, your faith has made you well.
Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”
(Mark 5:34)
