January 2021

 NEW CHAPTER

After a short yet tremendous preparation, I welcomed the year with a huge change: moving to a different country to pursue my studies.

As I bid my family goodbye for a while, many tears were shed, but I know that God’s love is covering our whole family. I am thankful for their support in pursuing what God wants me to do.

This new chapter entails a huge amount of courage to live in a foreign land during this pandemic, but knowing that God is with me gives me security. I am also amazed how He provided for all my expenses! He is indeed faithful!

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.

Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged,

for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

(Joshua 1:9)

NEW COMMUNITY

Studying in EAST has been a precious gift to me for such a time as this. From spending the classes online last semester, it was a joy to finally meet the whole community in person!

After serving my 14-day quarantine, they welcomed me in the chapel service. Their kind gestures warmed my heart, and each person has been an expression of God’s love and generosity towards me. What a great privilege to be part of a loving community! I really pray that more international students will get to be part of our community.

NEW CHURCH

As I start a new chapter in my life, I have yet to find a church wherein I can grow as a servant leader. It is my desire to serve in a small multicultural church wherein I can use my creativity and grow in a dynamic community.

Please stand with me in prayer as I claim God’s promise that He already prepared the good works for me to do.

Behold, I am making all things new.

(Rev. 21:5)
